another weekend has come and gone..

Hi

Well I have spent another weekend in my zone... Long to see my grandchildren I'm missing so much. But thankfully I do have a grandchild who sits with me everyday whilst I work. She knows how much I'm missing the hugs and cuddles. Forever Jane never leaves my side, her little sisters live some distance away I will hopefully see them soon. But I do get updated pictures on face book but that does not help me makes me miss them more.

So again another weekend zoning out as I call it.... Using images www,someoddgirl.com I have look at what's coming up Pink Ribbon and based some of my creations on the courage and fight women have to endure to beat this cancer,,, my cards quote inspiration and special meanings. They will be on display and for sale at Milton Bunnawang bazaar next weekend, I will be there too. Showing my skills as a colourist. So this weeks blog I have not one but a few pictures I have taken from every angle of my creation.

When I handcraft a greeting card for Milton Buddawang, I create my theme,  well I know DADS down where I live love fishing and sailing the beautiful waters of Jervis Bay. Summer or Winter So I have hand created more of the Theme and each one is  original and slight changes. love creating the background and the embellishments.

Beyond Sketching - Therapy

Hi All I will be missing in action for the next month, As  I prepare for Hubbie Michael's  Open Heart Surgery. My best friend, My Husband my greatest fan.  His been sick for a while and very tired... His heart is not beating to the love we have had for many years... Looking Fwd to 2017 when I can have my Michael Back full of energy and alive. So for now, I have been sketching and  zoning out to forget what is going on in my life.  I wont have my sons by my side to hold my hand to wipe my tears, or tell me it will be okay.. my Eldest is overseas my youngest is ignoring my plea.. I need a hug...  But, I'm there for my best friend...  Always and forever.. The following are sample of my sketches and will be created into Mix Media Art.
